Anthologies of World Literature

We recently published two anthologies, World Beat: International Poetry Now from New Directions and Terrestrial Intelligence: International Fiction Now from New Directions, to showcase the new writers we are publishing and as a convenient way to sample some of the work that ND believes will be tomorrow's classics. These anthologies are a great way to introduce students to a variety of recent and contemporary international literature. Educators interested in using one or both these books in their courses may request free examination copies.
